How to organize PDF pages

This is the tool for “the parts are right but the document is wrong”: a scan whose pages came out in the wrong order, a contract missing a signature page that needs duplicating in, a report with three sideways pages buried in the middle, or a 60-page deck where you only present 20. Seeing thumbnails beats guessing page numbers — rearrange by eye, fix as you go, download when it looks right.

1

Drop your PDF

Drag the document in, and every page appears as a thumbnail — you see exactly what you're working with before touching anything.

2

Arrange by dragging

Drag any page to a new position — a blue bar shows where it will land. On touch screens, use the ▲▼ arrows on each card instead. The badge on each thumbnail always shows its original page number.

3

Rotate, duplicate or delete

Each page card carries its own controls: rotate sideways pages by 90° steps, duplicate a page to repeat it, or delete the ones you don't need. Every action is undoable.

4

Apply & download

One click builds the new PDF from your arrangement — reorders, rotations, duplicates and deletions all baked in. Your original file is never modified.

Why PDFication

Why use PDFication to organize PDF pages?

Your document stays on your device

All the rearranging, rotating and deleting happens inside your browser. Thumbnails are generated locally — the file is never uploaded anywhere.

Undo everything, fear nothing

Every action is undoable — Ctrl+Z (and Redo with Ctrl+Y) work like any editor. Delete a page by accident? One keystroke brings it back. Experiment freely.

Your session survives a refresh

Close the tab, refresh, come back tomorrow — your arrangement auto-saves in your browser and restores with the undo history intact. No account, it just remembers.

Four jobs, one editor

Reordering, rotating, duplicating and deleting in a single view — instead of four separate one-click tools, you work the way the problem actually looks.

Choosing the right tool

The editor, or the one-click tools?

Organize Pages overlaps with several single-purpose tools. Pick by how much control you need:

Organize — see it, fix it

Mixed problems: wrong order here, a sideways page there, one page to duplicate. If you'd rather point than type page numbers, this is your tool. Open Organize Pages

Rotate — everything at once

The whole document is sideways and one uniform fix will do it — faster than the editor when there's nothing else to change. Open Rotate PDF

Extract — by page number

You already know the exact pages you want, like “1,3,5-8”, and just need them as a new file. Open Extract Pages

Split / Merge — the range tools

Cutting one continuous block into its own file, or joining whole documents — the classic single-purpose jobs. Open Split PDF

Simple rule: one uniform change across a whole file → the one-click tools. A mixture of fixes, or “I'll know it when I see it” → the editor.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

▸How do I delete pages from a PDF?

Drop the file, click the delete (✕) button on every page you don't want, and download the result. The removed pages are gone from the new PDF — and if you delete one too many, Ctrl+Z brings it straight back. Your original file is never touched.

▸How do I reorder pages in a PDF?

Drag any page's thumbnail to where it belongs — a blue bar shows the drop position before you release. On phones and tablets, the ▲▼ arrows move pages up or down one step at a time. The number badge on each card shows the page's original position so you can track it.

▸Can I rotate just one page instead of the whole document?

Yes — that's exactly what the editor is for. Click the rotate button on the specific page (as many times as needed for 180° or 270°), leave the rest untouched, and apply. The whole-document Rotate tool is faster only when every page needs the same fix.

▸Does my work survive a page refresh or accidental close?

Yes. The editor auto-saves your arrangement — along with the undo history — in your browser as you work. Reload the page and your session restores automatically. It lives only on your device: clearing your browser's site data is the only way to lose it.

▸Can I duplicate a page?

Yes — the duplicate button (⧉) inserts an identical copy right after the original. Useful for inserting a blank-ish repeated page, keeping a template page you'll scatter through the document, or reusing a signature page in several places.

▸Does dragging work on touch screens?

Drag-and-drop is designed for mouse and trackpad. On phones and tablets, use the ▲▼ arrow buttons on each page card — they do the same reordering and also work with a keyboard (Tab + Enter), which makes the editor accessible without a mouse at all.

▸Will the organized PDF lose quality?

No. Pages are copied byte-for-byte into the new document in your chosen order — text stays sharp, images keep full resolution, and form fields and links travel with their pages. Only the structure changes.
